SECURITY
Restorepoint is a hardened solution and all sensitive data held by Restorepoint is protected by encryption. Restorepoint transparently encrypts data when it is written to disk and decrypts it when it is read, rendering data theft impossible without a valid encryption key.
CONFIGURE AND FORGET
For your peace of mind, Restorepoint is self-maintaining. After the initial configuration, Restorepoint requires virtually no user intervention: all backups and software updates happen automatically and you only receive a notification if there is a problem requiring attention, or if you choose to be notified when device configuration changes are detected.
ROLE-BASED ADMINISTRATION
Restorepoint allows you to create multiple administrators within your organisation and assign different access privileges. Devices can be organised in separate administration domains, with individual delegated domain administrators.
AUTOMATIC BACKUPS
No need to remember to make a copy of the configurations of your routers and switches - automatic backups can be scheduled on an hourly, weekly or monthly basis. Restore operations can be started manually or scheduled at any time in the future.
CHANGE CONTROL
Restorepoint administrators can compare the configuration of a device taken at different times. If a device configuration change is detected, Restorepoint can automatically generate an email notification. Restorepoint can also help you conform with requirement number 1 of the complex PCI DSS compliance standard.
